Today, August 6th marks the 50th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. And voters are more vulnerable than ever to discrimination at and even getting to the polls. In June 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. Since then, states and localities around the country have been making changes that discriminate against voters basedsolely on the color of their skin or the language they speak. #RestoretheVRA
