The Grammy Museum:
At the Grammy Museum the Mike Exhibit was nice and expanded. There was a listening booth where you could watch videos like Dirty Diana, the sped up version of Smooth Criminal, You Are Not Alone, and Black or White, minus the best part-the tantrum. They had stations that you watch videos on with headphones. I watched the Jacksons rap the nominations for the 1977 Best Female R&B category. I thin 1977 Mike is the one in my imaginary friend day dreams/book. I saw them sing some nominations for 1974. Nice little black suits. I watched Live from Bucharest. They were in Working Day & Night and I always get a kick out of Mike hitting Siedah on the butt. They shortened the end of Man in the Mirror so you didn’t see the possible stuntman change over for the rocket man launch. The 1984 Grammy’s were cool. Janet, Rebbie, and LaToya were so cute. All relatively short. Mike kept giving shout outs to the girls up top in the balcony. Such cute eyes. He was so happy. He beamed. Didn’t know he gave recognition to Jackie Wilson on one of those acceptances. Jackie had recently. The light up floor from Billie Jean is pre-lit so you didn’t really activate it. They had sheet music up from We Are The World and the memorial program. There was a typo on the Mike musical timeline. It said he was born in 1959! How can you make such a colossal mistake?! They didn’t give that no cameras disclaimer and no employees were around so I snapped away. He has half the 4th floor and Neil Diamond now has an exhibit where his stuff used to be on the 3rd. I am trying to remember where on Victory Tour that he wore a blazer. There is a sequined blazer on display that says it was worn on Victory Tour, but I just haven’t seen a picture or video of him in a blazer yet.
